2007 Sales
PER KAUFFMANN, from Denmark, who purchased PLAY UPON A STAR. PLAY UPON A STAR, with rider Jim McCutcheon, competed in the 2007 World’s Greatest Horseman event, winning the preliminary cutting with a score of 223.

We met Play Upon A Star for the first time when we visited Jim McCutcheon at his farm in Valley View, Texas in November 2006. It was love at first sight. We had been looking at another stallion for some days prior to that. But when Play Upon A Star looked us straight in our eyes, there was no doubt. Dorte and Charlotte were excited. Brian Kronborg was unable to speak for a while (!) and Per was happy that all those experts agreed for the first time. We had found what we were looking for. |

The basic content in cooperation between Brian Kronborg and Luneborg Quarters was already laid out, an agreement that we wrote on a paper napkin in Atlanta Airport. It was easy to sign the contract with Jim McCutcheon.
The only problem was that Play Upon A Star already had been signed up for participation in Worlds Greatest Horseman in Texas, late February 2007.
